My Story

A soft landing, shaped by years of being welcomed.

I created this cozy desert home as a peaceful place for people who need rest, quiet, and a soft landing in Arizona. After years of being hosted by others while serving where the need was greater — volunteering in and out of the country — I learned how deeply a warm, steady environment can restore someone.

I've hosted many people myself, and those experiences taught me the value of simple comforts, privacy, and a calm atmosphere. This home reflects all of that: gentle lighting, thoughtful touches, and a sense of peace that helps you breathe easier. People arrive carrying life's weight and leave feeling renewed.

The sitting room — calm by day, restful by night

A relaxed sitting room with gentle, calming light; by night the sofa folds out into a comfortable bed. The very same space, ready however you need it — with its own closet.

Multi-use room

The Arizona Room — sunlit and easygoing

A bright sunroom opening onto the patio — a relaxed spot to sit or stretch during the day, with a comfortable bed for a restful night. This room uses the roomy hallway closet.

Your stay

One side of the home, one rate — all yours.

One reservation covers the whole guest side — never shared with other travelers. Come alone, as a couple, or with your family; the rate stays the same.

$70 / night

The whole guest side, yours alone

A private guest bedroom, a sitting room, the sunny Arizona room, and a bathroom that's yours alone — never shared with other guests. Bringing family? The sitting room and Arizona room each have a comfortable fold-out bed, so there's room to spread out.

Monthly stays are welcome, too. Send a note and I'll help you find the right fit.

Fees & deposit

Cleaning fee $75 · 1–4 days $150 · 5+ days

Refundable deposit $75 · 1–4 days $150 · 5+ days

The deposit is fully refunded after checkout.

To keep every stay comfortable, we follow a few simple guidelines:

Minimum stay — 2–4 days
Maximum stay — 6 months
Extended stays — can be discussed if needed; we're flexible depending on your situation
